Summary:
Pacific Cars & Trucks reached out and wanted a redesign of their old logo. They Wanted something more modern, timeless, and could be identified with the car industry. They also wanted a emblem within the logo that would add a bit of personality to the logo.
I thought about old school gas station logos from the 50's and 60's and used a common shape language for the overall shape of the final logo. Added fin lines to the logo that was common on cars from the 50-60's, such as a 1957 Plymouth Fury. The mountain emblem was added that brings in mind the Pacific Northwest, where the company is located.
